Laboratory Crediting
General rules
General rules concerning carrying out, passing and grading of individual exercises are included in the Laboratory Regulations available on the Laboratory Classes page.
Issues not covered in these Regulations are regulated by each teacher individually.
Information concerning tests
Current results are communicated by the teacher assigned to the given student group. Teachers may publish them on the Teachers page.
Test scopes for the particular exercises are found in the respective exercise manuals.
First resit
- The first resit is organised for the entire class of TCS (meaning all the groups), on two occasions:
- on occasion A, you can resit your four initial tests;
- on occasion B, you can resit your four final tests;
- on either occasion, you can also resit any test that you have passed in class (each test once), with your old score being replaced.
- To take part in the first resit, you must send an e-mail to the laboratory coordinator, containing the following text (only this and exactly this) in the Subject field (for PDS; an example for the PiUM course is given in the Polish version of this page):
PDS laboratory resit
(quotes have been used to mark text beginning and end but are not part of this text, so they must not be included in the abovementioned field),- followed by the letter identifier of the occasion concerned,
A
orB
(the previous remark on the meaning of quotes still applies), - followed by exercise symbols (one Arabic digit plus one letter) that you want to resit tests on, separated with spaces (not any other characters).
- Example: PDS laboratory resit A 2U 3P.
- Resit duration is 15 minutes times the number of tests being resat.
